In the UK they used to (still do?) show only phenotypic not genotypic so creams can be whatever in their genes as long as they look like what the standard says. Back in the days their creams were most often silver ag+ dominant red but nowadays they're extreme diluted blacks. In the Scandinavian countries we use to follow the breeders in the UK (since many, many years) in all regarding the common stock breeding/showing like dogs/cats/hamsters/cavies/mice but Finland has been more interested in what happens in the US (maybe because they live so close to Russia?). I think that this will change in Sweden in the future, it is more and more common to see Swedish breeders (and even judges!) talk about their "bones" when they mean their b.e. creams. I tried to breed "old English creams" once and started from scratch with fawns mated to a chinchilla and bred the F1 reds back to a si ag and the F2 reds back to a si ag again. ## Comment 64 Author: soria Ah. Our yellow is Ay/A but nobody have yellow what i know, or nobody breeding it. I know only rec. red and it was only one breeder and she stopped activity. That´s the usuall Brindle. The Brindle I´m talking about it´s called American Brindle or Tiger... I don´t know much about it... (Finns många sådana och du ser ut att ha hittat en av dem - agouti) Man får dock inte skriva kommentar i de trådarna, endast lägga upp bilder på möss med den färgen tillsammans med eventuell text.
