# Mouse care is difficult?

Do you think mice are a bit needy and difficult to take care of properly?

I voted Yes, because I think so. In the years I´ve learned how to take care of mice and still I feel would like to do better.

And when I look at the veterians lack of knowledge about mice I understand it´s a big problem. For that reason I think it´s important that we all share our knowledge about proper mouse care!

I said no because i thought  not of vets  but of how eay they actually are to please. They eat almost anything and they get happy from a tube of toilet paper ;)

You got a point there in toys... ![Skrattande](../tiny3/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-laughing.gif "Skrattande")

I thought much about health care...

Feeding mice is one of the biggest problem - in my opinion and many of the health problems is caused by giving the mice to little food and food that´s not so nutritious, and so on...

Svarade sometimes.

I have had other animals that where much more demanding. They where harder to give a meaningfull , healthy and fulfilling life. All creatures, wether big or small, is in some ways hard to give a long and happy and meaningfull life. Tho, i do not (yet anyways) see the mice on the harder side of that scale.

Right now I look at all the trouble with health I have with my rats and the health problems I see with my firends rats and there are so much sickness in the rat world!

Therefor I chose no, becouse right now I feel like my mice are very easy to keep fresh and healthy comparing to the rats.

But of course there are things about mice care that is hard too. Food, and particulary food for mice with fat genes is difficult to learn. And comparing to for an example cats or dogs mice seems to have more health problems.

I voted "sometimes", because sometimes they are easy and don't take a lot of time, and when they are happy and running around you forget your problems. But health problems are a big issue and can be very difficult. It can go well for a long time, but when something happends to the mice you can fight it, but it is very difficult to win the battle, and depressing to see when they don't get better.
