# Splashed

Splashed is a variety we dont know so much about here in Sweden. We only have a few of them and they all come from [Chillout Areas Mousery](http://mus.ifokus.se/Articles/Read.aspx?ArticleId=c3a777ac-bb62-4dfb-a0cc-893e5ffcfa0c&GroupId=d5d2be04-657e-4b7c-920d-26cb0fccbd34&GroupType=Se.iFokus.Community.Board.ArticleGroup) in Germany.

In Amerika the variety has been seen for much longer. AFRMA has them in their Show Standard.

When Splashed is combined with Piebald they become Tricolor.

if you want to read more I found a discussion in [Fancy mice breeders](http://www.fancymicebreeders.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=2602&hilit), a forum in England.

I have a plashed doe with five litters in the same colors as the one in the bottom of the picture in #8 (Black and beige). She was mated to a PEW male, unknown carrier, and the five litters are 2 self (beige I think) and three splashed (black and beige). I can take some photos to share,

Now with the new knowledge of Splashed, that it´s a dominant variety and shows in combination with c-lokus I can ask some more questions. First, is it viable with ALL c-lokus varietys, like for instance Chinchilla and Silver Agouti aswell as Siamese, Bone, Coffee (c(e)c(e))?
