Elyria askes in a thread (in Swedish) if fancy mice eats ants...

I suppose she wants to know if ants are nutrious for mice and not dangerous in any way...

I don't think ants are dangerous in any way, as long as it's not the red ones.... I mean they really hurt when they bite.  
I don't think they are very energy rich.  
When I grew up I eat many ants and I'm fine. ![Cool](../tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)  
  
As I wrote in the swedish discussion; our mice has an ant-road into their cage, but I haven't seen them eating the ants.  All other insects have had a very short life time when entering the cage.
