I work part-time (50%) in a petstore.

Sometimes it not to funny, but some days I realle think I make a differense. You can get people understand something, to chose the right animal for them. To teach customers how to make their animals happy and weel.being. I even till some people, if they really seem to care, that they can by even better animals from private breeders... Hope my boss doesn´t hear that...

I think its one of the best jobs I culd have. I can work with animals, and with people who love animals. I do not think that a job exists, that I would rather die than have. Maybe if I would have to kill living creatures every day, humans, dogs, mice etc...

If someone would kill you if you refused to work in a petstore, would you tell them to kill you rather tan take the job really?

OK...I wouldnt rather die but that was the alternative that was closest to how I feel.

I agree with Vattnadal. I liked to make a difference, to make people understand more about animals ![Glad](../tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif) But I don't want to work in a petstore fulltime, maybe sometimes but it's not the work for me.

Once upon a time, not long ago I worked in a petstore. Well....without the pets though. The only living animals we sold were fish. I really puked every monday when we used to clean the aquariums. 18!! of them.....iuuuhh.....what a job!

Tried it thru school (you had to work in some pet store or zoo, a veterinary clinic and a science lab with mice for a few weeks each) I did not like it.
