Hmm, jag läste lite i artikeln, så nu vet jag att det finns. Men det skulle ändå vara kul med bilder.

Rex har vi inte - astrex o texel kallas dom här. Sen om det är samma gen som dom kallar rex i andra länder, eller om det är olika det ska jag ha helt osagt.

Men en vågig korthår kallas astrex och långhår texel.

Jag vet att amerikanarna kallar sina rex om dom har vågiga pälsar

Okej. för det stod något om rex i en av artiklarna, men jag förstod att det var texel astrex som var det "vanliga" eller vad man ska säga

Musen Kola är texel dvs lockig långhår.

Thankyou ann_dam, that must be a real rex, as I can see. So, it is possible to find it on mice. I don´t think we have it in Sweden.

Your Mouse looks "thin" in the fur. Is it hard to get the real thick fur on rex mice, as you can find on rabbits for example?

I am not breeding them yet i am getting them in March, they are not that common over here as well, as far as I know there are only two breeders in the netherlands that have them.

 This one is indeed thin in the fur, it is difficult indeed to get a rex good in fur, this picture is of a friend of mine, i have found a picture of a rex in better fur, this one is from the breeder i will get my rexes from in march.

I will add it to this post.

The gene responsible for this fur is fz, or the fuzzy gene, naming the fur types is quite complicated over here as well :D
